The 43rd Annual Meeting of the American Society for Virology will be held at The Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio and hosted by The Ohio State University, from June 24 - 28, 2024. Abstract submission, travel award applications, and registration are now open!

Abstract Submission

You can submit your abstract and find more information on abstract submission for the ASV 2024 annual meeting at the ASV 2024 website here. The submission deadline is Thursday, February 1, 2024 (11:59 pm/23:59 Eastern time).

Before submitting an abstract, please be sure to read the Abstract Submission Guidelines. If you submitted an abstract in 2023, please use the same login and password. If you are a new user to the ScholarOne abstract site, you must create an account to submit an abstract.

Registration

Visit the ASV 2024 website for registration rates and to register for ASV 2024. Both in-person and virtual attendance registrations are available. The virtual portion of ASV 2024 will including recordings of the Satellite Symposia, Keynote, Plenary Symposia, and the State-of-the-Art lectures only. Abstract presentations, both oral and poster, will be in-person only and will not be available virtually.

The Early-Bird discount for registration ends Monday, April 22, 2024.

Travel Awards

Travel award applications for ASV 2024 are now open! To submit an application, you must be a current member (dues paid through 2024). Students and postdocs will need to submit an abstract prior to applying for a travel award. The abstract ID will be required on the travel award application. The deadline to submit an abstract is February 1st.

How to Apply

Submit your application by logging into your membership account and clicking Travel Award Application 2024. If you are not an ASV member, you can apply for membership here. New membership applications must be submitted by February 1, 2024 in order to apply for an ASV Student or Postdoc Travel Award. Membership is not required for Teacher of Undergraduate Virology awards.
