Onsite Child Care
ASV is committed to having the annual meeting accessible to all interested virologists. For ASV 2025, ASV has contracted with KiddieCorp (kiddiecorp.com), a national firm that has provided onsite daycare for meetings of national organizations since 1986. KiddieCorp provided childcare at ASV 2022 in Madison, Wisconsin, ASV 2023 in Athens, Georgia, and ASV 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.
The program is for children ages 6 months through 15 years old. The dates for the program are July 14-17, 2025 and will be located at the Palais des congrès de Montréal in Montreal, Canada. Snacks and water will be provided for all children. Meals need to be supplied by parents or pre-order with KiddieCorp.
The cost for the children's program is $10.00 per hour, per child. Children must be registered for a minimum of two consecutive hours per child for each day registered.
If registration does not meet minimum numbers by May 9, 2025, ASV may cancel the program. If this happens, parents will be notified and will not be charged the registration fees.
The advance registration deadline is Friday, May 9, 2025. Register early, as availability is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis. You are also welcome to register on-site, however, there is no guarantee a spot will be available.

ASVCares Grant for Dependent Care
ASV will provide grants to members attending the Annual Meeting to help offset the costs associated with dependent care during the Annual Meeting. You may apply for an ASVCares grant by logging into your membership account or by using the button below.
Applications require a statement of need and a budget justification. Awardees (trainees and faculty) may use the funds at their discretion – to bring a caregiver and the child to the meeting, provide dependent care at home during the meeting, etc. These grants will be awarded independently of other ASV travel awards.
The application deadline for the ASVCares grant is Friday, May 9, 2025. Award notices will be sent after the deadline. Please note that the exact amount of fellowship may not match your request and will depend on the ASV resources available.
*ASVCares grants cannot be used in conjunction with onsite childcare because the costs of onsite care are already partially subsidized by ASV.
